he-A.R.T.-project is focusing on the cultural exploitation of small rural towns and the use of art, cultural heritage and landscape as a source of innovation formation.  The main approach of the project  is participating local people. This international and inter-regional project focuses on gathering and exchanging best practices on communal art work and to strengthen local networks. Project aim is to improve the level of interest and accessibility when it comes to participatory rural art. One objective is to see professional art as one of the regional identity factor and furthermore, as an appeal factor for tourism.
